Haller’s performances in the Dutch league caught the eye of top clubs across Europe, and in 2017, he made a high-profile transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. It was at Frankfurt where he truly announced himself on the European stage.

With his clinical finishing and aerial abilities, Haller became a key player for Eintracht Frankfurt. His contributions to the team’s success were particularly evident in the UEFA Europa League, where he delivered standout performances that earned him widespread acclaim.

But it was in the 2023 AFCON and in the UEFA Champions League that Haller truly made history. However, he eventually decided to commit his international future to the Ivory Coast national team, as he qualified to represent them through his mother.

He received his first call-up to the Cote d’Ivoire national team and made his debut in an AFCON qualifier against Madagascar. In that match, Haller showcased his brilliance once again by scoring the winning goal for his team in the 55th minute.
